Little Brother, chapters 5&6

Daryl is still missing. I think that it was hard for Marcus to lie about the fact that he wasn't with daryl when the bomb went off. If Marcus hadn't lied, then his parents would've know something was wrong and that he wasn't quarantined in Oakland with Van and Jolu for five days. I think that Daryl was kept in the prison because he was injured, but I think that Marcus thought that he could be dead because the DHS hadn't bothered to bring him with them when they tried to get him help.
Marcus later discovers that his laptop(that he built himself) has been tampered with. I don't think his paranoia is unreasonable because he was a major suspect of the DHS. I think that he was a suspect because he had lots of odd things in his pockets and passwords on his phone. If he had just cooperated at first and gave the DHS his passwords, then he wouldn't have been bugged. I think it was a good thing that he was bugged though. That is because if he hadn't been bugged, then he never would've set up th Xnet. Also, he never would've become M1k3y.
I think that marcus's welcome back to school was crazy. It was crazy because all the people at the school had thought that he was dead. Now that he is back, he has to sign a form saying that it is okay for the school to have cameras in every single classroom. Personally, I think that this is INSANE. That is because teenagers aren't going to do anything super major like a terrorist attack, but some rather stupid people think that having cameras is suddenly going to make everyone and everything safe again. That is just not the way things work.
