Little Brother, chapters 3&4.

Marcus and his friends get picked up by the DHS. They think that the terrorists might be kidnapping them because they get bagged and handcuffed. I think that the DHS has no right to treat innocent people this way, espically because when they get released, the families will start asking questions about where they were. When Marcus and his friends were brought to the prison, no one knew where they were. Also, Severe Haircut Lady begins to interrogate everyone about who atteacked the bridge and how they did it. Marcus decided that if he ever wanted to get out, then he would give them his passwords and such. This was wise on his part because it helped him get home. The bad part was that the DHS was holding them illegally and the fact that they were threatening him with no food did not help. I think that if i were in Marcus's position, then i would cooperate and give them the passwords. It would help me get home to may parents sooner and out of the prison that i had no place being in at all in the first place. The DHS is wrong to just pick up random people because they are innocent and have done nothing wrong. the DHS is only bringing the people to prison to give the government the idea that they have a lead on who caused the terrorist attack. I think this is wrong because innocent people should not be taken prisoner by their own government.
