At the key signing party, Marcus met a lot of new people, including Ange. Ange is a friend of Jolu who was the first one to make a key, and the only one to go down to the shore to kill the laptop with Marcus. I think that if he hadn't met her, he wouldn't have heard about the concert "Dont trust anyone over 25."
Later in school, someone wrote the slogan on the board in Marcus's social studies class. This provokeed a discussion about the government and civil rights movements and such. Marcus brought up the point that the government should do what the people want it to do. He read something from the Declaration of Independence that stated that the people have the right to change or overthrow the government if they don't like what's happening. I totally agree with this statement. That is because the government is supposed to be "for the people, by the people" and it cant be if the people don't like what it's doing. The whole thing with the government tracking you and questioning people about where they were and why they were there is not right. I think it's good that the Xnetters are doing something so help stop it, even if it does slow things down. I think that they jam to confuse the DHS and to make it so people will protest the checkpoints more. If more people protest, then it is more likely that they get shut down and survelliance goes back to normal.
